The white stoneware garlic jar is thrown on the pottery wheel. The holes on the garlic jar allow air circulation while keep the light out to prevent the garlic from sprouting. I glazed with the rutile blue glaze inside, the tenmoku glaze outside. It is reduction fired to cone 10 in the gas kiln. I mix own lead free glazes. It is food safe. Enjoy!
